Discovery Boxes are filled with a combination of books, toys, science experiments, learning challenges, guided explorations, and educational activities to help you deep-dive into discovery this summer through hands-on, minds-on learning right in your own living room, backyard, or porch! Your kids will be able to independently experiment, invent, and explore a different subject each month this summer through the lens of STEAM and History!
The activities in each box can be explored independently or together as a family. Activities are designed to help kids thoroughly explore a subject and can be completed in any order, but together create a cumulative learning experience.
July Discovery Box: Mission to Mars!
Calling all Engineers, Scientists, and Astronauts! We’re heading off on a mission to explore our neighboring planet—Mars! Learn about what we’ve discovered about our terrestrial neighbor as we explore Mars’ surface. Discover some of the amazing ways we’ve traveled on Mars thanks to NASA’s incredible rovers. Experiment to build your own tools, rockets, and rovers as part of our planetary mission. And grab a seat to follow along with NASA’s 2020 launch of the Perseverance rover this July!
Discovery Box: Ecosystem Explorers will be available starting July 7th. Discovery Boxes are delivered or available for pick up the Tuesday following your order.
Cost: $85, members receive a 10% discount, Family Plus members or higher receive a 20% discount
Age Range: Best suited for ages 7-9, but will be enjoyed by explorers up to the age of 11
