Discovery Boxes are filled with a combination of books, toys, science experiments, learning challenges, guided explorations, and educational activities to help you deep-dive into discovery this summer through hands-on, minds-on learning right in your own living room, backyard, or porch! Your kids will be able to independently experiment, invent, and explore a different subject each month this summer through the lens of STEAM and History!
The activities in each box can be explored independently or together as a family. Activities are designed to help kids thoroughly explore a subject and can be completed in any order, but together create a cumulative learning experience.
August Discovery Box: Time Travel Adventure!
Did you know that there are real time travelers?! These adventurers help us dig up clues and piece together the stories of the past, and this month we’re going to learn the skills to become time travelers ourselves! Discover the stories of Fort Collins through time as we become Archaeologists, History Detectives, Archivists and more! Fasten your seatbelts because this August we’re heading back in time!
Discovery Box: Time Travel Adventure will be available for pick up following your order.
Cost: $76.50, members receive a 10% discount, Family Plus members or higher receive a 20% discount
Age Range: Best suited for ages 7-9, but will be enjoyed by explorers up to the age of 11
