Through storytime, crafts, and hands-on activities, your preschooler will get to explore the building blocks of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in this virtual version of Little STEAMers! Designed especially for children 3-5 years old and their caregivers.
June 11th: Insects, Bugs, and Creepy Crawlers
Learn the differences between insects, arachnids and arthropods as we meet some of FCMoD’s creepiest crawlers up-close!
Registration closes June 9th. Instruction for this workshop will take place live on Zoom on June 11th. All program materials will be available by delivery or pickup before the workshop.
Most Little STEAMers programs require some basic household and craft supplies, in addition to the program materials provided. We recommend that you have scissors, tape, glue, crayons, markers, pencils, and washable paint for your child’s use during the program. You may purchase a Craft Kit with all of these items directly from the Museum by adding “Craft Kit” to your order. The Craft Kit will be delivered or available for pick-up alongside your Little STEAMers program materials.
Cost: $10 per participating child, $8 for members. Caregivers are free of charge, and are expected to engage with their child for the duration of the program.
Ages: Especially designed for 3-5 year olds and their caregivers.
