Mini Makers: Animal Inventors

This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday June 25

10:30 AM  –  11:15 AM

Imagine, invent, problem solve, and more during Mini MakersAnimal Inventors! In this program, children will engage in design thinking as they learn about recycling and reusing through story time and hands-on building. Once complete, each little engineer will have their very own up-cycled animal creation!

Registration closes June 23rd. Instruction for this program will take place live on Zoom on June 25th. All program materials and Craft Kits will be available by delivery or pickup before the date of the program.

Mini Makers programs require some basic tools, and craft supplies, in addition to the program materials provided. We recommend that you have scissors, tape, glue, crayons, markers, pencils, and washable paint for your child’s use during the program. You may purchase a Craft Kit with all of these items directly from the Museum by adding “Craft Kit” to your order. The Craft Kit will be delivered or available for pick-up alongside your Mini Makers programmaterials.

Cost: $10 per child, $8 for members. Caregivers are free.

Ages: Especially designed for ages 3-5 and their caregivers.

Note: If you are a museum member, be sure to register and sign in using the links at the top of this page for a discount on your tickets.
