July 11: Rocks and Minerals
Let’s “talc” about minerals! In this lab, your family will learn about rocks and minerals and conduct an experiment to distinguish the two. Then we will use the Mohs Hardness scale to classify rocks, just like real geologists! Be there “ore” be square.
Registration closes July 8th. Instruction for this program will take place live on Zoom on July 11th. All materials and supplies will be available by delivery or pickup before the program.
Cost: $12 per family, $10 for members
Ages: Open to all ages, designed for families to learn together
