Virtual Little STEAMers: Songs & Sounds

Through storytime, crafts, and hands-on activities, your preschooler will get to explore the building blocks of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in this virtual version of Little STEAMers! Designed especially for children 3-5 years old and their caregivers.  

 

 

July 9th: Songs & Sounds

Sing, dance, and count to the beat! During this classlittle ones will learn about the different categories of instruments and what sets them apart. They will be introduced to sound science and basic musical counting through song! Participants will also create their very own instrument.    

 

Registration closes July 7. Instruction for this program will take place live on Zoom on July 9. All materials and supplies will be available by delivery or pick-up before the class. Communication regarding delivery or pick-up will be sent after registration.  

 

Most Little STEAMers programs require some basic household and craft supplies, in addition to the program materials provided. We recommend that you have scissors, tape, glue, a glue stick, crayons, pencils, and washable paint for your child’s use during the program. You may purchase a Craft Kit with all of these items directly from the Museum by adding “Craft Kit” to your order. The Craft Kit will be delivered or available for pick-up alongside your Little STEAMers program materials.   

 

 

Cost: $10 per participating child, $8 for members. Caregivers are free of charge, and are expected to engage with their child for the duration of the program. 

Ages: Especially designed for 3-5 year olds and their caregivers.
