Tuesday Night Live: Invisible Disability - Masking in a Neurotypical World (Adult Focus)
We are all different. Some differences can be seen by the naked eye. And sometimes it’s what you don’t see that speaks volumes. Join us for a panel discussion in the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater to explore the challenges of having a hidden disability. Five neurodiverse individuals will discuss what it’s like to live with the bias of “looking normal” while managing a complex inner world. Learn about masking, camouflaging, dismissal, and all the work it takes to hide the differences that make up who they are.
Neurodiverse Adults: Listen to neurodiverse adults as they share their experiences of masking and camouflaging in a neurotypical world.
