Discovery After Dark: Magic Lantern

Magic Lantern featuring Peter Sommer (presented by Hyperprism Music) is an evening of electroacoustic music by Colorado composers that celebrates the silent film era.  Works inspired by such classics as “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” and “A Trip to the Moon” along with other works inspired by imagery both real and artificial. Renowned jazz saxophonist Peter Sommer will join the Hyperprism Chamber Ensemble in an exciting blend of movies, music and electronic soundscapes.
