Good for all ages and especially grown-ups!
Discover the architectural legacy of Montezuma Fuller, one of Fort Collins' earliest and most prolific architects! Born in Canada in 1858, Montezuma Fuller arrived in Fort Collins in 1880 and became the principal designer of many of the city’s oldest buildings. Join Senior Historic Preservation Planner Jim Bertolini, President of Historic Larimer County Ron Sladek, and Curator of the Archive Lesley Struc as we dive into the life and work of Fuller and explore how buildings he designed are being preserved today.
Beginning with an open house in the Local History Archive at 6:30pm, we’ll explore original historic documents and objects before heading up to the Digital Dome Theater at 7:00pm for an “armchair tour” of Fuller’s story and buildings.
Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast, a history lover, or simply curious about the cool old places in Fort Collins, this event promises inspiration, discovery, and a deeper connection to our built environment.
Tickets are required due to limited capacity.
