What do Asiatic lions in India and mountain lions in Northern Colorado have in common? More than you think! Join Dr. Steve Berwick on a breathtaking journey to the Gir Forest of northwest India where the only population of Asiatic lion in the world live alongside nomadic Maldharis, local herders. Featured in a National Geographic special, Dr. Berwick’s study transports you back to a time when little was known about this rare cat, and brings you forward to today where lion and man maintain a tenuous co-existence.

In addition, Rocky Mountain Cat Conservancy researchers will be on hand to offer a peek into the lions in your backyard – Fort Collins’ elusive mountain lion, Colorado’s top predator. Two cats, two worlds…one great time!
